The water leakage sensor detects water that has leaked onto the floor where the aquarium is located: based on programming, certain functions will be activated or deactivated, minimizing damage.

It can detect both soft and salt water leaks. The sensor requires the relative interface (ACQ210N-WL) to be connected to the system.

The Water Leakage Interface connects the system to one or more water leakage sensors. By using this interface combined with the relevant water leakage sensor (code ACQ320), connected multioutlets can be controlled and alarm signals can be sent.

The alarms can also be sent via e-mail and SMS if the relevant Ethernet or GSM modules are connected to the system (in case of Aquarium Controller System).

The ACQ210N-WL interface is equipped with:

a connector for BUS connection to the Aquarium Controller system with relevant connection cable
two connectors for connecting the sensors mentioned above
When it is connected to the system, it permits automatic "Plug & Play" recognition and enabling of the relevant configuration menus.

This solution is used to acurately calibrate the new style density probe.

The ability to measure the salinity of the aquarium water has long been an importance. The new marine density probe allows you to constantly see and have the levels of salinity in your aquarium at a quick glance at the front panel of your aquatronica.

Ethernet Module
Thanks to the Ethernet module and a remote connection, it is possible to dialogue via internet or LAN networks. This allows the user to check the Aquarium Controller in twodistinct ways: - by connecting from any internet point, via a browser; - by connecting to a LAN network. In both cases, it is possible to monitor the aquarium data and also manually enable and disable every single socket of the power units connected to the system. It is also possible to enable email alarm management (you receive a message at the desired email

address if a malfunction occurs).

Thanks to the GSM module and a remote connection, it is possible to dialogue via a mobile phone. There must be a SIM card from any mobile phone company (not supplied) inside the GSM module. This makes it possible to receive considerable information about the condition ofyour aquarium, such as:triggered system alarms black-out warnings and a subsequent signal when the power is turned back on (thanks to the internal battery) you can ask the control unit for the list of water chemical values send and receive sms messages just like any normal mobile phone
The firmware inside the GSM module can be continually updated on-line.

Aquatronica dosing pumps guarantee the possibility of metering liquids in your aquarium. The module consists in 3 peristaltic pumps which function independently and allow the

following types of dosage:
Single dosage: allows a pre-established quantity ofthe substance to be administered at a set time and on set days;
repeated dosage: allows a dosage to be repeated at regular intervals (hours - days); weekly dosage: allows the desired dosage to be administered only on set days of the week;
diffused dosage: the desired substance is administered evenly over a set time lapse.
Aquatronica dosing pumps also administer substances on the basis of data provided by the electrodes connected to the system; this innovative function allows you to automatically

correct the water biological balance.
There are also 3 optional connectors which in future will allow stirring systems to be

connected to the module; this will allow the metering of semi liquid substances (which would

tend to deposit).

These units are UK rated and allow 6 pieces of equipment to be switched on and off. For larger setups multiple bars can be used connected together giving switching to a larger number of devices up to a maximum of 60 outlets more than enough for the average fish room.

Often the poor relation to pH monitoring as in the past it has been pretty expensive to implement. It has a number of really practical uses and the Aquatronica system makes it a good value option. Redox or ORP is often misunderstood by aquarists and it is certainly true that you can have a great aquarium without being a slave to orp readings. Its real use is in giving you a visual indicator of problems and the effective control of equipment. A couple of examples the ORP on most tanks runs across a range noticing a drop in this can often indicate a problem such as a turbo snail dying or some other pollutant that may have died behind a rock and not be immediately apparent. A quick look at the low orp reading or setting an alarm can instigate further investigation and prevent a small problem that might cause a domino effect if left unresolved.

Probably the most common use is the accurate measure and control of Ozonisers. It is very easy to do a lot of damage with unregulated use of ozone. Adding redox control allows you to control the dosing to set levels to achieve the desired affect on the aquarium.

The other great use is the monitor and control of slow flow denitrators. Anyone who has ever tried to use one of these manually, will tell you that keeping the redox low enough to keep denitrifying bacteria working but not going so low as to turn the whole reactor in to a sulphide farm is one of the black arts of the aquarium. With electronic control it's easy to monitor and control water flow and redox and get very efficient denitrification.

The use of this allows you to monitor and control salinity through the use of two resevoirs one of strong brine and the other of fresh water. It is possible to keep salinity to a very high level of accuracy.

If you plan to undertake using this method of salinity control we recommend fully testing your methodology before allowing unattended operation as the setting of the delay on monitor and control is very important as it takes time for each addition to mix in the aquarium. Highly accurate but needs a little planning IOHO

With this kit, Aquatronica control units can be connected directly to a PC having USB connection so that data can be downloaded, settings can be made and software and firmware updating operations can be performed.

The Aquatronica PC software allows you to:
