XS PHOSPHATE REMOVER
A powerful Ferric Hydroxide Phosphate Remover, for helping control nuiscance algae associated with high Phosphate levels. Also improves calcification of stony corals.
Entirely safe to use in a freshwater or marine aquaria for controlling phosphates.
Ferric Hydroxide has been used for many years in domestic water filtration systems for controlling phosphate and arsenic levels. This fine granular form is ideally suited for using in a fluidised reactor although can be used in a 100 micron mesh (or finer) filter bag.
Test Phosphate levels regularly and aim to keep them below 0.1ppm in a freshwater aquarium or below 0.05ppm in a saltwater aquarium, once phosphate levels begin to rise, change the old media for new.
USAGE:
Rinse before use in Reverse Osmosis water to remove any dust.
Approx. 150g per 500 litres. Test phosphates regularly and increase or decrease the amount of media used depending on how quickly your phosphate level rises.
For optimum use, ensure you only top up evaporated water with good quality Reverse Osmosis water.
Alkalinity and pH levels may drop after initial placement in the aquarium, test these regularly and buffer as required.
This high quality specification ensures absolute safety to your delicate marine organisms and is guaranteed not to leach highly toxic metals such as Chromium and Aluminium which can be the case with cheaper industrial grade Ferric Oxides

LIQUID PHOSPHATE REMOVER
Our powerful Liquid Phosphate Remover is based on the same ingredients used for phosphate control in large public aquariums the world over. This highly concentrated solution can remove high levels of phosphate quickly and effectively. Do not attempt to eliminate high levels of Phosphate too quickly as it could have an adverse effect on corals. Changes should be made gradually over a period of a few weeks. Suitable for saltwater and freshwater aquariums.
DOSAGE:
Shake well before use.
0.1 ml per 100 litres of water per day.
Test phosphate levels daily with a reliable test kit.
If levels are dropping significantly then reduce dosing by 25%. If phosphates levels have not fallen after a period of 7 days, increase dose by 25% and continue.
Natural sea water contains approx. 0.002ppm of phosphates, do not attempt to removal all phosphate levels completely as this could lead to an adverse effect on corals in a reef aquarium.
This product is not suitable for acrylic aquariums as the chemical may turn the acrylic cloudy.

LIQUID MAGNESIUM
This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Magnesium levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Magnesium level maintenance.
Maintaining Magnesium at natural sea water levels helps stabilise calcium and alkalinity levels, leading to improved growth of stony corals and calcerous algaes such as coraline and helps keep a stable pH.
This product is highly concentrated and has been pre-blended for your convenience to maintain and increase Magnesium levels at a balanced ionic ratio between Chloride and Sulphate.
You should aim to maintain Magnesium levels at around 1300 to 1350ppm using a good quality reliable test kit.
500ml will raise Magnesium levels by approximately 30ppm in 100 litres of salt water.
Simply add straight into your tank or sump or alternatively add to your evaporation top up water and top up as normal.
One capful equals 25ml.
Shake well before use.
It is not recommended to increase Magnesium levels by more than 50ppm per day.

LIQUID CALCIUM
This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Calcium levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Calcium level maintenance.
Maintaining Calcium at natural sea water levels is important for the health and growth of corals and calcerous algaes such as coraline. Invertebrates such a shrimps, crabs, snails and clams also require good levels of calcium for continued growth and health.
This product is a highly concentrated form of disolved Calcium Chloride in purified water.
You should aim to maintain Calcium levels at around 400ppm to 450ppm using a good quality reliable test kit.
250ml will raise Calcium levels by approximately 30ppm in 100 litres of salt water.
Simply add straight into your tank or sump or alternatively add to your evaporation top up water and top up as normal.
One capful equals 25ml.
Shake well before use.
It is not recommended to increase Calcium levels by more than 30ppm per day.

LIQUID POTASSIUM
This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Potassium levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Potassium level maintenance.
Maintaining Potassium at natural sea water levels helps promote enhanced colouration in small polyped stony corals (SPS).
This product is a highly concentrated form of disolved Potassium Chloride in purified water.
You should aim to maintain Potassium levels at around 380ppm to 400ppm using a good quality reliable test kit.
25ml will raise Potassium levels by approximately 10ppm in 100 litres of salt water
Take care not to overdose, as a burning effect can occur on the tips of SPS corals such as Acropora.
Simply add straight into your tank or sump or alternatively add to your evaporation top up water and top up as normal.
One capful equals 25ml.
Shake well before use.
It is not recommended to increase Potassium levels by more than 10ppm per day.

K- IODIDE
K-IODIDE is a highly concentrated 10% stabilised potassium iodide solution for reef aquariums.
K-IODIDE will restore and maintain iodide levels to those found in natural sea water.
It is a safe bio-available source of iodine.
Maintaining Iodide levels at natural sea water levels will result in enhanced colours and general health of all corals. Also benefiting macro algae's and crustaceans such as shrimps and molluscs.
Test regularly with a reliable test kit and maintain total iodine levels at around 0.06ppm
Directions:
Dose 1 capful for every 500 litres in a high flow area of the tank or sump.
One capful equals 25ml.
Shake well before use.
Test Iodine levels weekly and increase/decrease dosing as necessary.
Do not dose any other supplements within one hour of dosing this product.

BALANCED MAGNESIUM
This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Magnesium levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Magnesium level maintenance.
Maintaining Magnesium at natural sea water levels helps stabilise calcium and alkalinity levels, leading to improved growth of stony corals and calcerous algaes such as coraline and helps keep a stable pH. POTASSIUM CHLORIDE

This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Potassium levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Potassium level maintenance.

Maintaining Potassium at natural sea water levels can lead to brighter colours in small polyped stony corals.

You should aim to maintain Potassium levels at around 380 to 400ppm using a good quality reliable test kit.

5g (1 teaspoon) will raise Potassium levels by approximately 25ppm in 100 litres of salt water

Simply dissolve the required amount into a few litres of Reverse Osmosis Water, mix well and slowly add to your tank in an area of high flow, preferably over a period of an hour or so using a drip line or peristaltic pump. Alternatively add to your evaporation top up water and top up as normal.

It is not recommended to increase Potassium levels by more than 10ppm per day.

CALCIUM CHLORIDE STRONG
This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Calcium levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Calcium level maintenance.

10g (2 teaspoons) will raise Calcium levels by approximately 35ppm in 100 litres of salt water.

REEF BUFFER
This product can be used on its own for a one off fix for increasing Alkalinity levels in your marine / reef tank or for regular ongoing Alkalinity level maintenance.
3g (two thirds of a teaspoon) will raise Alkalinity levels by approximately 1dKH in 100 litres of salt water.
You should aim to maintain Alkalinity levels at around 8 to 10 dKH using a good quality reliable test kit.
Simply dissolve the required amount into a litre of Reverse Osmosis Water, mix well and slowly add to your tank in an area of high flow, preferably over a period of an hour or so using a drip line or peristaltic pump. Alternatively add to your evaporation top up water and top up as normal.
It is not recommended to increase Alkalinity levels by more than 1dKH per day.
CAUTION: Do not add more than the stated dose, overdosing can have adverse effects on your tank water pH causing it to drop to dangerous levels.
