AquaSafe® makes tap water safe for fish by eliminating chlorine and heavy metals present in municipal water supplies. AquaSafe® also neutralizes chloramine by breaking down the bond between chlorine and ammonia while reducing both fish-toxic chlorine and ammonia components. In addition, AquaSafe® provides slime coating to help wounds heal and protect fish from abrasions.

AquaSafe should be used when setting up a new aquarium and with every water change, recommended ever two weeks. AquaSafe is the fastest acting most complete water conditioner available. AquaSafe provides a slime coating to heal wounds and to protect fish from abrasions. Within minutes it neutralizes chlorine and heavy metals and removes chloramine by breaking down the bond between ammonia and chlorine and removing the toxic ammonia. Tap water is then fish safe. AquaSafe will not remove ammonia from an uncycled, overstocked, or underfiltered aquarium; proper maintenance includes filtration, regular water changes and gravel cleaning with a Tetra Hydro Clean.
