Highly recommend within a year with good water quality this species will grow to be 6-8 inches across. Note photo does not do justice to the green polyps.

| tracphyllia Radiata Tracyphilliya Radiata
Currently trade in this species is suspended
Formerly Wellsopyllia Blastumosa Folded Brain size average 3-6 inches as supplied
This is one of the classic corals, that is ideal as a first hard coral or to enhance any tank. This coral has been missing from the hobby for a number of years now and has recently been removed from the EU Scientific Committees suspension in trade list. The coral is hardy and has a moderate light requirement. Most people tend to keep these corals on the sand but beware if gobies are present they will become stressed if coral sand is dropped on them.
Liking lower light the coral also appreciates supplementary feeding. A good first food to initiate a feed response once the coral has settled is frozen mussel or red plankton. If this is waved around the coral about 30 minutes before lights out, the coral will expand its tentacles to trap prey. Once you have the creature responding fine chopped mussel or fortified brineshrimp may be offered. Soaking food in zoecon and vitamins is to be recommended. Offer food twice a week or as required. If the coral opens daily searching for food then light feeding can be done on a daily basis.
These corals have a gorgeous fluorescence under actinic light.

| Cleaner Shrimps Cleaner Shrimps
These shrimps are an excellent addition to any marine aquarium, besides keeping fish clean by removing parasites, if a few are kept given good conditions they will spawn adding a useful source of planktonic matter to help feed small fish and corals. The breeding cycle once established will often continue at 14-21 day intervals.
Shipping Shrimps and acclimatising
We only ship these animals in good weather and pack them well for the journey using heat packs and insulated packaging. We are happy to make shrimps part of your order but will seldom ship a single shrimp, due to heat loss in single package shipments.
Shrimps like all smaller invertebrates should be given a long slow acclimatisation. As they are particularly prone to osmotic shock. Allow 30 minutes for the temperature to equalise by floating the bag then drip using airline, water from the tank for around 45, minutes. Particular attention should be paid to peppermint shrimps

| True Peppermint Shrimps True Peppermint Shrimps
These are proper Lysmata wurdemanni not Lysmata rathbunae as often offered as peppermints. These shrimps are excellent at controlling nuisance aptasia. We recommend them at the rate of 1 per 18 inches of tank length or 2 for very heavy infestation. We can also say do not expect immediate action from these little chaps, as they often take 3-4 weeks to settle but once they start working you will be amazed at the amount they consume. If you have a total plague then you may wish to consider either a copperband butterfly or a double saddleback as an alternative, although it is impossible to guarantee that these will not nibble corals; although most people find them not to be a problem.
