Was established in 1995 as the aquarium shop we would want to visit, after years of less than ideal advice and service from the shops where we indulged our passion for all things aquatic. It was time to find a better way.
To many people STM represents the marine side of the aquatic triangle but we have all kept and enjoyed tropical and cold-water fish, which are an integral part of our operation. Regardless of the type of fish marine or freshwater our philosophy remains the same we want people to enjoy their hobby from the humble goldfish to the most desirable coral.
We achieve this by making sure people have the right information on how to look after the animals they have purchased and the right equipment to keep the environment in first class condition, but most of all that we have the quality of stock we would expect as customers. We go to extensive lengths to deal with suppliers across the world that can offer the quality our customers demand.
Areas of Operation
STM Retail
This is our main retail operation located in Riverhead Sevenoaks Kent originally a small retail premises we are currently expanding in to the adjacent building which will triple our size and offer much needed space for a new aquarium display area, dedicated tropical room and larger invert selection. As we speak the changes are well underway and we look forward to announcing these new areas, as they are finished. This will offer our customer one of the best aquatic experiences in the country. A place where not only can you find interesting livestock, but talk to people about the best way to keep them and choose from all the major brands of dry goods. Our aquarium showroom features all the best products from Aqua Medic, Deltec, Juwel and many others.
STM REEF FARM
The UK's only dedicated purpose built farm offering a range of farmed corals. This forms an important part of our philosophy of respecting nature and helping to relieve pressure on corals taken from the wild.
STM Shop
This is our specialist online shopping site for the marine and tropical aquarist, it offers a range of both dry goods and livestock at competitive prices and offers many useful specialist products that solve a particular marine problem.
