MoonCast Moonlight system
There have been a good few attempts at making a useful light system for night viewing the new Mooncast is a good design that can either be purchaed as a stand alone moonlight manually controlled or with the additional moon phase timer that controls the light over a 29 day lunar cycle.
Up to 4 lamp units can be connected together for longer tanks and greater effect. If you have not looked at your aquarium with one of these lights at night then you are only seeing half the picture.

Fits inline between plug and MoonCast unit. Requires the power supply to have a standard timer fitted to replicate a lunar cycle. When the MoonCast activates for the first time the light emitted will be 100% and each subsequent activation, slowly dims the light until is has reached a set point. The light will then go back to 100% and the cycle repeats. Dimming and time span will depend on how long the MoonCast has been set by the timer to stay on or off.
